Presidential Partners Consulting Conducts Broad Band Focus Group at National Public Safety Communications Conference…
Taking the discussion to those who manage and operate our public safety communications centers…
Anaheim, CA, September 3, 2013 — The annual conference held by the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, Int. (APCO) this month in Anaheim, CA. with over 5,000 public safety communications professionals in attendance, provided the backdrop for two Broadband Network focus group sessions targeted at public safety telecommunicators. The two sessions, comprised of twenty five invitees each, were conducted by Presidential Partners on Monday, August 19, 2013 in the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. All of the invited participants were APCO conference attendees, and each was given an overview of the new and proposed FirstNet Broad Band plan. The two groups were then asked what they perceived the impact of broadband to be on their respective communications centers.
Presidential Partners will analyze the data received during these focus group meetings and prepare a “white paper” which will be published in partnership with APCO International and distributed nationwide. Presidential Partners chose the APCO conference as the location for these meetings based upon the vast experience and knowledge of that associations membership numbering over 20,000.
